Nos crew cab drop gate, CSP Shifter

Post by Eternal Optimist »

I’ve loaded up the Crewcab with a bunch of stuff to sell at Slough/Newbury on Sunday. Two bits that stand out from the rest of the tat I’ll be selling is a new and unused 66/67 CSP shifter for a RHD split and a NOS nearside dropgate for a pre 67 Crew cab.

Hi, is the drop gate the early style without indents for hinge reinforcement?
How much are you after for it?

Yes, it’s the pre 67 model year. I paid £600 for it, don’t particularly want to let it go for less than that.

What condition is the drop gate? Is like new NOS or stored in a leaking barn NOS?

Somewhere in between I'd say. It's been in my garage for the last ten years or so, I wouldn't like to guess before that.

I had a reasonably successful time at Slough/Newbury last Sunday - sold a fair chunk of what I took and managed not to buy anything other than lunch when I was there. I’ll take a few pics of the stuff I bought back and put them up on here over the weekend.

Actually, it’s not true to say I didn’t bring anything new back with me, I did manage to lift some of my old tat in a fairly clumsy way when I was taking it off the truck, so I need to net off the cost of my Osteopath for the back pain I bought back from my takings for the day!
