These are the pictures I received when i enquired, from the Westfalia Register and show a 1971 model with different later number plate position and different handles. Only three or four are known to exist. This one was owned by Rolf de Kam but he has sold it to another "Trailer Register member"

My rear quarters with lights removed
Image

buzz has some lights like these..

I'm still uncertain what rear lights my van would originally have had because the panels look slightly different. Both surviving trailers are later than mine.

Edit: Checked today...those lights are the correct ones...Rolf is seeking some NOS ones for me!

I totally agree, would look cool if it matched your bus 8)

If you paint it to match your bus, why not use the same rear lights, and complete the look?

brilliant find, btw! - looking forward to hearing and seeing more on this one!

Dave has been busy again grafting in the front corners

Next to clean up and blast the roof lip to glue it back in place...
Soon have to decide on the colour scheme and whether to repaint it with the OG old school signage again...
George Kukka are no longer in Business ... at least I think they are not...off to do some more Interenet research...

Difficult decisions...Polished marine ply floor or paint it grey? Like it was...

Maybe a bed assembly LOL

Box of bits including NOS correct rear lights on their way...from Belgium. Netherlands  Yippee!
Looking forwards to them arriving!
Now to look out the trailer plug fittings and ponder their replacement...do I go new or NOS period parts? The old parts are shot...

Just weighing up!

Tracked down and found a supply of the last remaining stocks of NOS Rear OG lights (that I know of) + Number plate light! NOS lights Made by Hella!
Triangles, chassis plate, Westfalia sign etc all received from Westfalia Trailer Register Secretary.

Work has been ongoing to repair the corners and form the light mountings! Dave and Matt have been busy!

Bought a Westfalia book (given to all employees to celebrate 150th Anniversary) has pictures of earlier and similar enclosed wheel trailers! Found picture of vending side hatch trailer...Now there's an idea!
Wheel tubs would allow a bed to be installed above them...May turn into a trailer bed!

I doubt that this is tru, i sold the same trailer this year to someone in the UK
or is it a different model ? ..... the are rare but you see them from time to time. again great job..love to see it wenn it's done.
