The last one is on the Òresund bridge, after the tunnel, approaching the bridge bit!

Now staying at this Stugor overnight, about 10km from Tierp Arena, should sleep 6-7, just 2 of us in it.
Pre show chilling turned up to 11.ImageImage

After this was Bug Run Classic, at Tierp Arena, loads of space, some really cool cars and some top drawer racing.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Once we’d done there it was time to head over to Bohus Björkö, an island just above Göteborg, to meet up with some former colleagues and long term friends of my Dad’s, they hadn’t been together since the late 70’s.
A genuine trip down memory lane!Image
We had been here in the late 70’s when foreigners weren’t allowed on the island as part of it was something military, staying with someone who is related to one of the rozzers smoothed that over!!
Everyone allowed on these days.ImageImage
Our friends house, and our accommodation/palace for the night!

After a night in the largest motorhome I’ve seen we had a stroll around the place, looking at the IS(ice house) that his family used to run, and had a look at his boat. A truly beautiful location.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

All too soon we were heading back to the mainland and heading south, stopping this time just north of Malmo, with a family i know, i met him and his mate at Busfest a few years back and we’ve kept in touch.
Hospitality aplenty again!!!ImageImageImage
Then it was back on the road for a big day of driving, after bidding farewell to Lasse and his family we left at 9-45am, 30 minutes later we are back on the Oresund bridge again ,hurtling towards Denmark, took to driving route again, instead of the ferry, superb journey apart from some delays in Hamburg, once that was done its full steam ahead to Osnabruck before turning towards Enschede in the Netherlands, first services over the boarder and we stop for the night, 9-55pm!

Then, we are up and doing early doors, only a half day drive to Dunkirk but with Belgium on the way there is a beer to be bought!Image
Image
Saw this on its way to Spa, from Spain.
Then bumped into several minis, proper ones, not the modern tat with the same name.
On their way to Bristol for a meeting.
Image
Made it to the ferry early, i had booked on the 8pm when guessing before we left, they bumped us forward and we’re on the 4pm! ImageImage
Then sway from Dover at 6-15, only 186 miles to go, foot down and at 9-45 after a brief fuel stop we are home!
10 days, 3000 miles, many smiles and memories later we are home!
Next stop Skegvegas!!

So, after the bug trip, Skegvegas was nice and local, and was a banging time as usual, followed by a campout at a local steam fest!
Only a couple of pictures,

Annnnd that should say bug run trip...
Anyhoo, each winter i try and sort any issues to keep on top of things, this year the noise in the gearbox is being addressed, its out awaiting a trip to be rebuilt!
And a small repair to the bottom of the b pillar.
