Despite the weather I have decided to give the engine a check over as I had trouble getting her going last time.

I checked the plugs and cleaned them , gaps are fine at 0.6mm

Checked the gap on points, fine at 0.4mm

I thought the battery was flat so decided to take it off and charge it, whilst I had the oil bath filter off I checked that, level looks good.

But I think I may have found the problem.

So to get things a bit more up to date !

Took Laura for an MOT and she got a pass :D

I thought I'd adjusted the brakes towards the end of last year and seeing as we passed her mot I'm going to cross that off the list.

Obviously she would have passed without the brake lights working, so that's off the list.

I went to fit a new gear stick pin that I got off Rocket Ron today. Only go find that it already had one ! One of the 2 bolts needed tightening down to stop the gear stick being loose.

I had fitted a new fan belt last year

All fuses are intact

So this is how the list looks now

Adjust brakes
Fit new brake light switch
New fuse
New fuel sender
Fit gear stick pin ( thanks Rocket Ron)
New fuel lines
Fuel cut off solenoid
New nosecone seals
New fan belt
Change to old style exhaust
Reshape rear valance
Revers switch

Thanks Graham.

If there are still people following this thread , she is now in the 'buses for sale' section.
