Price Of Deluxe Beltline Trim !

Post by OxonPhil »

Does anyone know why the price varies so much between the companies ?

Creative = £295 - This is complete with infill and caps, screws, etc.

Custom & Commercial = £385 - Doesn't include infill

Schofield = £490 - Not sure what this includes

Do you really get what you pay for ?

They all come with pre-bent ends now.

I can't see what the difference is :?

I guess its a difficult question really, as not many people will have fitted all 3 :?

Any help will be appreciated,

Cheers,

Phil :D

jesus!! i have the creative one, a joy to fit!! just countersink the screw holes so the screw heads are not evident through the infill, i think more than £300 for a set of belt trim is too much, do the other sets include sill trims and engine louver trims?????

it does look like creative have fixed the big rear corner problem... along with time travel 8O
"....but it now benifits from reworked forming tooling (Nov 2009)...."

so with that fixed, you shouldn't have too much grief.

Yep I'd agree with that ... I picked up my genuine belt line trim for £150 :o & it'd polished up like new! :bounce:
Also picked up sill trim (£100) & front bumper trims (£50) as well, all original ;) just take your time like I do & bargains are still around to be found 8)

nodding dog68, just make sure you LHD bus is small back window if thevanthatcan decides he wants to sell to you as the trim is different to later larger rear window buses ;)
