If still available, will take drinks holder and cab door inner handles & escutcheons please.
Will you do both for £40?
Thanks

Genuine VW Thermostats.

Missing a bellows rod (easily available new) and need restoration but complete otherwise and working £55 (I have a fan-shroud stashed somewhere for this which can be dug out if required)
Unless it's the camera angle, that bellows looks like it's failed.

When cold the bellows should be closed up tight and a gap to the top of the bracket.

If there is a gap, then I need one as I gave mine to a customer last week to keep his bus on the road.

Thanks for the advice Jim. I took it off my van 25 years ago when I stripped it to restore and it went into a box, only to emerge a few weeks ago. On looking at the bellows they were gummed apart with old oil and dirt, I have given them a clean tonight but have noticed the nut from the top is missing, so I don't know if they are useless, will see in the morning

OK Jim, after cleaning all of the muck from between the bellows and re-setting it in hot water there is 5mm between the bellows and the frame at room temperature, I don't know if the missing pieces from the top are available. Anyway pic below

I think, sadly that bellows is dead. But the rest of the parts are still an absolute bargain for someone looking to reinstate thermostat control.
