Here you go, I thought he had put it on our photo thread.

The Hamster face look caused by a combination of new-ish crash helmet and balaclava as it was bl**dy freezing. But I enjoyed every minute of it! Gnarly will vouch for the grin I had on my face when we met him on route!
Huge thank you again to you, Beryl and Kev!

How was the curry and de-brief last night?

At 14 (probably just about 15) he did a 54 in Wales when I did a 57, I guess he'd gone faster than that at the time... that was the first time I saw him and it was pretty clear he was an awesome talent.

I'll leave that to Mike, I prefer mine with an engine!

No, about 2/3s on the bike and did the mountain in a car afterwards & the bus the next day.

It has given me the prompt to get a modern bike again, much easier to ride than my BSA. I'm booked in to go to Normandy for the 65th DDay commemorations June 09 then it will be bye bye BSA & hello something with brakes & electric start!

Me having a go on a real bike back in '97.
The climb up Snaefell seems to go on forever!
Boardman must have been further down the road when this was taken
