New site feature: Buses in a place.

Post by Doc »

Based on the concept of this thread (and the thought of some nice easy site content):

viewtopic.php?t=39664
and now:
viewtopic.php?t=42262

I'm looking for 4 or 5 spots, preferably covering a range of spots in the UK. Has to be a spot enough people can get to. Would be great to cover Wales/Scotland/Ireland as well.

Ideally the spot should be one that allows people to re-recreate a photo but with their bus in it

Little Pink Shop has to be the first one I guess (and that's not because I'll be there next week  ).

Already a few Fistral pictures so another possibility

I'm after 2 things:

1) Locations
2) Better name than "Buses in a place" for the feature

Cheers,

John

**UPDATE**

Suggestions so far:

Locations
Little Pink Shop
Ace Cafe
Black Rock Sands in North Wales
Buses on the Strip
Also...
Stone Henge (might be difficult getting a good shot with the stones in the background)
Isle of White (needs a single spot)

Names
Location, Location, Location
Landmark Buses
Bus Views
Bus Stop Shot
Bus Stop
Split Scene
Splits in Places
Split Screen Seen
VW Vista
Bus Spot
Bus Stops
Kombi Nation

Doc,

I think you are on to something with this...

What about selecting an inappropriate location like outside the gates at Buckingham Palace for one location?

How about Black Rock Sands in North Wales, easy to find and a great place to take your bus and have fun.

good name! and I think teh first image looks like the most re-produceable (although I reckon the quality of the photography will be harder to match 8) )

Good one, that should pull in quite a few.

I think the rules for this one would have to be the bus in front of the Ace (ideally on it's own)
Location like this may be?
