Not buying a "Ringer" - Any advice

Post by Petelucherts »

hi chaps
Looking to purchasing my first split. Just after some advice.....After reading some threads on here regarding people buying stolen/ringers unknowingly I dont want to end up doing the same thing.

Other than checking chassis no. to log book and hpi'ing is there anymore you can do?

thanks,

pete

Read up on year model where VIN plate m code plate features it should have.. colours it should be..
Find a local with the knowledge to view and assess with you..
See the bus.. ask seller to send pictures of above..
Your learning will tell you a story too of what has been changed
