Yep, great classics and it brings back good vibes, last bike we had is amongst them, Kawasaki Z900, only ours was an A4 in green with a yellow pin stripe, it was stock after spending a load onnew parts, 1976 model year, my god they are worth money now.
Great bike, Ang loved it, still got our leathers and helmets.....
Sometimes when you have set the benchmark, the only one you have to beat is yourself !

Nice bikes,but not cheap at all.
I have a few as well.
A 500gtv desmo,wich i will turn in to a metalflake café racer.
And two yountimers,a 888 and a 916.
Both these are from 1994.

Desmos' are incredible bikes indeed. My uncle used to have one and I had so much fun whenever he let me backride on it. I'll come over this weekend to help him install the brake kit and four wheel hand grips on his new ATV ride. I'll ask he still got some photos of the Desmo, he definitely regret selling it. Yours must be a fun project.
