Beetle storm cover

If it's not about Vans, Dubs, Air-cooled - you guessed it - it goes in here.

Beetle storm cover

Post by unclegee »

Hi all,

Does anyone have any recommendations for an outdoor vehicle cover for a Beetle with US spec' towel rail bumpers?
Most manufacturers state their Beetle covers are unsuitable for this type of bumper.

Thanks, Grant

Hi! I have had two of these covers and find them very well made and not expensive, got mine off eBay.
( my bug is a 58 with towel rails and roofrack fitted and it fits easy)

The one I have is this one: http://www.hamilton-motorsport.co.uk/ac ... tdoor.html

Not cheap, but excellent quality. I can't see why it wouldn't work with towel rail bumpers.

I no longer have a beetle, but I've still got the cover, so if you were interested, let me know.

Hi Rhodrich,
Sorry mate but I didn't notice your reply and I've already ordered one like Stevep's.
