Email Notification Issues

Post by Dipsy »

We've just discovered that for some unknown reason Microsoft have blocked all email traffic from the SSVC server to their email addresses (hotmail, live, outlook etc). The main implication of this is that any forum notifications that go to Microsoft hosted addresses will be blocked until the situation is resolved. At this point in time I've got no idea exactly how long this will take to sort, but it is in hand, and I'll keep you all updated on our progress.
Cheers,
Nige.

Doesn't Microsoft have anything better to do?

Mine runs through 1and1, no notifications either (whether they use Microsoft and this is adding to the issue who knows).

I have my own domain hosted by One.com and I'm not getting them either.

Without going into the (extremely) boring techy stuff, I *think* that we've got all of the blocks on club email sorted.

Please continue to let me know if anyone is still experiencing problems.
