Re: Ignition

If you need a replacement ignition/starter switch I have a new unused repro with keys for £10 plus P&P. If you need an indicator switch, I have a 6 wire switch (s/h) for £30 posted.

Re: help - bouncy ride

Put the Dampers back on. They're not shock absorbers, they're there to damp the oscillation in the spring. In truth, the spring absorbs the shock of pressure on the wheel rim causing it to twist. Re: Where do i start looking?

Have you got a wiring diagram?

From memory, live feed from the fuse box to the horn, the other wire from the horn goes up the steering column to the horn push which then completes the circuit by earthing the horn. Your short circuit will be on the supply side between the horn and the fusebox.

Re: single cab repair panels

Yep, we returned several Gerson panels to c&c as they simple were made wrong like cargo door hinge holes an inch out of position on B and C post repair sections. Exactly. Credit to them for what they do, but I think there's a load of stuff they do by hand and those with hammers and chisels don't al...

Re: single cab repair panels

Not entirely sure I'd agree with that. I used a few Gerson bits when I was restoring my crew cab - there were a few panels that needed a lot of re-work. However, there's nobody else I found who did gates.
