Samba Windows:lol:  They go in like all the other Windows with a rubber seal. Back to school.  Next you will be calling the cargo doors barndoors. Now safari Windows which is what you are asking about should actually use the factory recess with the captive nuts. But most splits...

Re: 1500 single port performance.

To be totally honest mate, i think you are going to struggle with a 1500sp mated to irs. Irs gearing saps a lit of oomph out of your engine & hills are going to be a struggle Balls ha. What's the best option then straight axle? I'd love to keep the 1500 as it's the original engine and I like the id...

Re: Fuel Leak

If there is that amount of fuel getting to the combustion chambers then it will easily seep past the psiton rings and oil scraper ring, remember fuel is alot thinhher than oil. The only other way for fuel to get into the oil is if the fuel pump diaphragm has a split in it. The engine can still run l...

Re: Fuel Leak

This sounds very odd, have you replaced the manifold to head gaskets, this is obviously before it goes into the head so possibly its leaking here when your flooding the engine. Have you got stock carbs or twin carbs? disconnect the electrics so the engine wont fire and get someone to crank it over a...

Re: First splitscreen project

It has thin lip dog legs, should have fat lip doglegs, everything you need to turn it back to bullets is available but it does require welding up those fish eyes. I have to tackle the same Job on a 62

Re: First splitscreen project

Looking good, 61 RHD, may have been sold as a 63 as it looks like the front indicators have been changed from bullets to fish eyes. Anymore photos of front rear and sides a bit closer up as it looks like it has shallow lip front arches which again may have been changed to later arches in its life. A...

cab door top

Cab door top right hand side, solid, and very good in the 1/4 light section where they usually rust out. Needs slight attention where the catch plate goes but easy fixer. £50 http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg565/andy_read1/doortop_zps53qkdy1g.jpg http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg565/andy_r...
