Re: will this work without steering box raise?

you dont need a box raise with just dropped spindels which are 3.5inch drop. That tyre size is not going to work either , too wide. stock 15s run max 165/65/15 but ideally 165/60/15 and alloys 175/55/15

Could be a dodgy ht lead from coil to cap, or sometimes when the coil cools down it will work again and then break down in the future again when it gets hot again I knew about coils breaking down when hot, but the odd thing was that it didn't start when we tried the Beetle coil. Would faulty electr...

Bugger, Well as your going to be towing the puck maybe you could make some brackets that bolt on to give you some mirror extensions when towing. I guess someone had truck mirrors on those door tops before

I had the roof repainted three times due to a garage door incident and an awning clamp mishap. I must have missed it somewhere on your thread but what are the allen head bolts on th...

Fog looks spot on, is it mounted off the bumper iron where the splash pan bolts on? I was thinking of putting a reverse light there on mine as I installed the switch on the nose cone of the gearbox. Fancy making the same bracket again?....

Sounds like a good first trip Steve. Don't worry about not winning anything. It's not why you built Rusty. You built that bus for your family and have made sure through blood sweat and determination that your family have a fully sorted bus built to your family's needs. You wanted to make VF and you ...
