Foamex can be formed with a heat gun so was ideal for making a drinks tray ftont panel. Once cooled it retained shape very well. I aim to ...

Re: devon door check straps?

They are fitted as per VW standard as in the picture of the bracket and pin on the back of the B post. The cargo doir inner pressing as I recall even has a pair of indents to take the screws for the door cleat. I am unaware if VW fitted a check strap to Deluxe buses on the back of the C post. I have...

Re: M Code 125

Strictly Devon was a approved convertor from 1972. The interior was a Factory fitted conversion. Delivered by VW to Devon in Sidmouth and was fitted in the Factory before the customer purchased it and registered it. It has been fitted as long as the vehicle has been on the road and no doubt if it is...

On mine and others I have seen there is a wooden door prop held by a blacked dome capped japanned wood screw. This a...

Re: M Code 125

I had a good dig around and tried to find a topic on thesamba.com but was not successful... yes they were an option fitted for export models. The Michelin X steel belted radial tyre brand dates back before the introduction of the Splitscreen van. You certainly could claim that they were an option.. ...

Re: stainless wiper spindle nuts

Yes.. I would like two. One of mine is galvanised and the other is not..it rusted the first day it rained.. Because the wiper assemblies are proprietary parts.. Obsolete parts documentation just says Hex nut Mat Chromium plated. Diagram page 609 Details page 613 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2020...
