Re: Refitting heat duct 'Y' over torsion housing

Will, this is one of the jobs that needs doing to franklin/gee gee. Early 50mm tubes fitted as that's all I could find at the time, but now got the correct, later, 60mm tubes (one in your garage and one just delivered from evam). The 50's were a pig to get in, especially as the repro floor pan didn'...

Re: front safaris & seal bundle kit

I picked up a seal kit from schofields..not used it yet but schofields generally gets great reviews for the parts they offer. I bought mine from schofields shop on ebay...bizarrely it was a bit cheaper and ebay had a 10% offer on at the time so it knocked quite a bit off.

Re: 65 13w deluxe 'Project Franklin'

Quick update on Franklin. The garage we had the van in let us down badly....poor quality work. Luckily we weren't in too deep financially before we pulled him out 10 months ago. On a more positive note, hes been tucked up in Bristol for the last 10 months and Franklins slot has just come up.....so a...

Re: Cab doors

You could try oacdp.org . Lots of parts books on there, but unsure if it's any help for a fleet line. Pete

Re: Heater Ducting

Someone was selling this piece (I’m sure) on eBay the other week. Otherwise I think evam classic sell the individual parts. I bought the full kit you’ve seen...metal seems thinner, but at the time couldn’t source second hand.

What type of castrol grease question?

Just started to re-build my front beam following a full strip down. I’ve bought two types of grease - castrol high melting point and castrol lithium moly (heavy duty )grease. Would I be ok using the high temp stuff for the front wheel bearings and the lithium moly for the front beam, king pins etc? ...

Re: 55-67 refurbed dropped or stock spindles - also Brazilians!

Hi Gill. I’ve got a stock set from a 65 that I would like refurbed too. Would you mind sending me a pm too with prices? Also, thought I’d ask, I’ve got a second spare set that I’m planning to sell when my first set is refurbed...would you know what the going rate for a second hand set is? Thanks Pete
