Re: Brake master cylinder question

Thanks for the info, I’ll remove them. I’ve now fitted a banjo fitting to the side tight on clearance with the steering shaft,

Re: Brake master cylinder question

An option might be to switch to a dual circuit beetle brake master cylinder which has the holes on the other side... it’s a late 67 with factory dual circuit brakes, drums all round (68 bay rears) and a vw Jim remote servo. If I went down this route would I need to fit in line residual pressure valv...

Re: Brake master cylinder question

I see that the inserts are residual check valves that some of the bay/aftermarket dual circuit master cylinders don’t have...
Any reason the brake line couldn’t run off the switch side?

Brake master cylinder question

Hi, I’m busy with a rack and pinion steering conversion at the moment. Overhead air duct panel in OG Pearl White

Hi,
Looking for an air duct panel in OG Pearl white, to match the rest of the original paintwork. Already have one that’s been painted but it doesn’t look quiet right
Thanks

Re: single cab spring plate problem

Hi, I’ve fitted some adjustable spring plates to my bus recently. I didn’t have issues with the spacer being too thin, not ideal but sounds like that could be solved by making an additional plate to suit. The torsion bar doesn’t reach the end of the outer part the spring plate on mine either, I gues...

Re: Squeaky Rear Suspension Bushes - arrgh!!

Just taken my spring plate cover off after experiencing the same annoying creaking after fitting adjustable spring plates.. The Top of the outer half of the plate has been rubbing on the spacer and has actually slightly deformed the Edge of the spring plate, extra clearance is defo required
