Re: Van wanted for Classic Cars cover shot

If only my van would run :( thought it was carburetor but my Trevor and Matthew have striped mine down and put it back and I still have a problem. They are going to look at fuel pump next week. I would do this if they get the van running but probably unlikely.

Re: For the attention of anyone with a Tracker....

I have not read all of this thread but my only comment about Skytag is that it does run the battery down when vehicle not in use, I now have a charger to keep the battery topped up when van not being used.

Re: Early mags from no. 2

Hope you sell these, there are a lot of useful articles that have been printed over the years. I also have these and more but can't yet part with them. I love looking back at some of the pictures and reliving days gone by. Wonderful VW memories.

Re: Workshop manuals 63/67 vol. 1 and 2 (reprints)

Hi, these would have been available from the SSVC Shop many years ago. My husband made these available to members, there was also a Parts List. I have a couple of copies of each of these if anyone is interested. My husband also produced PDF files on disc of these manuals for SSVC members. I am inter...

Re: It's today

Well think I am going to miss only my 2nd ever BB as no sign of baby yet and Brighton is a long way from home in a van that has not been given a proper run for a long time and still unsure if carb problem is actually sorted!!

Re: Viccy Farm stuff can someone please post info?

Point taken Terry, but to be honest I don't think that information was put on Facebook either. Obviously an oversight I will try to put right next year. Big thank you to Amanda for all she has done over the years, my kids are 19 and 21 now but still remember her... What was in the magazine before t...

Re: Viccy Farm stuff can someone please post info?

Thank you Dave Eccles for starting this post. I was at the AGM but thought the same as you. Information about this event 'Annual Rally' (and AGM) are important and can only encourage more people to attend and get involved. Seedlings were busy as usual and Amanda decided that 21 years after starting ...

Re: agm viccy frm

I know lead was told to do no more that 35 miles per hour but if convoy drove so that each vehicle could always see one behind then gaps would not occur even taking into consideration roundabouts etc as one in front (not talking about lead vehicle but those much further back) would slow until they c...
